Pre-weddings can be so beautiful if you have a little fun with it. Having an activity you can do together really makes for some unique shots and brings out some genuine emotion in the final photos.
It also helps you relax and be completely natural in your movements as you have something to do! Perhaps even forget the camera is there as you’ll be having so much fun together.
We absolutely loved this boat vibe.
Some pre-wedding tips and tricks for a successful shoot:
- Plan to have it 6 months out from the big day, that way you can utilise the photos in the lead up to the wedding.
- Catch that golden hour goodness. Depending on what time sunset is predicted on your pre-wedding shoot date, we would start the session 1.5 hrs before sunset time.
- Bring a spare pair of shoes for walking around and exploring if you plan to tackle the wilderness, but also want to look cute in heels for the shots!
- Schedule your hair and make-up trial for your pre-wedding shoot day.
Location is key! Pick your vibe, parklands, urban, coastal, mountains, etc. Once you figure out what type of vibe/look you want for your photos, we go about recommending our fav locations that suit you preferred vibe.
