If we could describe Erlyn & William’s wedding journey in two words it would be ‘HAPPY TEARS’.
It was so emotional, wholesome, full of love, laughter and smiles. Everything you want when marrying your one and only! You could say we shed a sneaky tear or two behind the lens.
Let’s rewind to the day before the wedding where the festivities began surrounded by loving family (and doggies Tofu & Lenny) at the tea ceremony. Beautifully styled with pops of red florals and traditional outfits to match. Erlyn & William were beaming with joy and smiles ready to soak up every moment. Many hugs were given, much tea was sipped, red envelopes and gifts were received. It was such an honour to be included in this special part of their wedding journey.
Fast forward to the next day, the WEDDING DAY! Still beaming from the day before William was nervous and it was finally kicking in that he was getting married. The boys doing their absolute best to look schmick! Pulling out the iron, lint roller and a little instructional video on how to tie a bowtie. We also caught a few more happy tears after William’s letter reading that made us weep a little too.
The girls preps were just the same, with nervous and excited energy flowing! We were amazed at all the little beautiful touches Erlyn put into every details, from her ring boxes to her bridesmaids gifts, she has clearly poured her LOVE into this wedding. Of course it wouldn’t be complete with a few emotional moments during the letter reading.
Don’t get us started on the ceremony! Such a beautiful wholesome and emotional ceremony filled with traditional elements and pure joy. Erlyn beamed through the door to the church like a literal ray of sunshine and William’s waterworks began again. Bless his heart! Erlyn wasn’t too far behind getting very emotional as the ceremony progresses. We are all here for it. These two were not afraid to show their love for each other and their wedding reflected that!
Portraits time! These two could not contain their smiles, a whirlwind of emotions in the morning turned into that JUST MARRIED feeling. We headed out to the Opera House to get some iconic Sydney shots and it did not disappoint. Erlyn’s Christina Rossi dress was just wow… we could not help but fan her elaborate train out to get some amazing shots! Meanwhile the bridal squad getting the party started during portraits with some dance warm ups before the reception.
The reception was next level! The room beautifully styled by Flowers by Pili with elegant white and green florals. Super modern cake by Little White Bakes and our fun Audio Guest Book with vintage phone in cream to match the wedding aesthetic.
Celebrations started with a BANG with bridal party entering in the most extra way! The bridal party pulled out all the stops, we saw everything from a back flip to a worm and some breakdancing spins. This crew knew it was time to SHOW UP! Of course the reception would not be complete without the happy tears moment during speeches as loved ones poured their love out to the couple. A rollercoaster of an emotional day that we are absolutely so happy we were apart of. The night ended with DJ Savvy doing his thing and making the dance floor go off!
We wish Erlyn & William all the happiness in the rest of their lives together! It was a true honour to be apart of this one and we won’t ever forget it. A truly special, emotional and fun wedding. We got all the feels and much more!
