Grab your favourite cup of joe and get ready to join us on a remarkable journey of love, laughter, and caffeine-fuelled romance! Today, we’re excited to share the delightful wedding story of Helen and Jimmy, a couple whose unique love story started brewing on Coffee Meets Bagel dating app. Helen, a non-exercising gal, found her perfect match in Jimmy, a personal trainer with a passion for fitness. Together, they embarked on an adventure that beautifully blended their contrasting lifestyles into a celebration of love. We were lucky enough to be able to provide both photography & videography for their day!
Tea Ceremony – The Perfect Blend of Families
The wedding day began with two heartwarming Tea Ceremonies, one for Helen’s side of the family and another for Jimmy’s. These traditional ceremonies symbolise respect, gratitude, and the joining of two families also with some fun door games! Helen’s radiant smile lit up the room as she exchanged meaningful gestures and cherished moments with her loved ones. After the tea ceremonies, Helen transformed into her white wedding dress as she prepared for the main event of the day. Special mention to Sophie Lau for the hair and make up for the day.
Ceremony – Where have you Bean all my Life?
The grandeur of Oatlands House provided a picturesque backdrop for Helen and Jimmy’s exchange of vows. Nestled amidst lush gardens, the venue has that kind of timeless beauty, with D’Lights playing some live music in the background setting the stage for a dreamy and romantic atmosphere. Also another mention to the beautiful everlasting bouquets by Leia & Me created for the entire bridal party showcased as they walked down the aisle. As the couple declared their heartfelt promises, the warmth of their connection brought tears of joy to the eyes of their loved ones.
Portraits – Don’t worry, be Frappe!
After the ceremony, we whisked the newlyweds away to explore Holroyd Gardens and Hoffman Kiln. The vibrant blooms and foliage seamlessly complemented the couple’s energy. Helen’s aversion to exercise couldn’t dampen her spirits as she embraced the natural surroundings with grace, adding a playful touch to their portraits with a cute little dance session and drinks with the bridal party.
Reception – Better Latte than Never
As the sun began to set, Helen and Jimmy’s guests gathered at the Villa Capri, eager to celebrate the couple’s love story. The Lion Dancers unleashed a burst of excitement getting everyone in the mood for a fun night! Amidst the celebrations, guests indulged in great food, danced to the beats of the talented DJ from Fave Events, and created lasting memories in the photo booth. We were so honoured to be part of this special day, wishing Helen & Jimmy all the happiness that the future will bring!
